First Paul Simon: The teams Hearn of Barenaked Ladies

Kevin Hearn became acquainted with the living legend, with Lou Reed in unusual circumstances. Once they were on the same label, and had spoken very little time on the phone it was in 1997, but after a year, Mr. Hearn found his ANCER. When he was hospitalized and awaiting a bone marrow transplant, Hearn, Reed sent an e-mail and good luck wiched. Kevin was restless and unscrupulous, honored, Hearn wrote the message again, and they became good friends.

Over ten years later, Hearn record new songs for his new project, Kevin Hearn and Thin Buckle, during downtime BNL. When Mike Rathke has a firm position that he plays on the album, these meetings have been invited to audition a behavior Hearn to visit New York in order for the group Reed. This, in turn, lead guitar Reed Signature conduce to a few songs for Thin Buckle. Hearn eventually got the job.

Kevin goes over his first meeting with Lou, "I realized that was the man of the eighth sitting on a chair, very carefully," Hearn said Spinner. "I thought he was the manager, Lou. During the next break I went to him and after some hesitation I have finally fulfilled. At the end of the end, it was Paul Simon, then I asked him how his day was and he said "Every day when I play or listen to music is a good day. That's how I feel.
